             invites applications for

   Postdoctoral Prize Fellowships in
  Theoretical Physics or Astrophysics

A number of Prize Fellowships at the Postdoctoral Scholar level will be awarded on the basis of an international competition. They are to begin in Fall 2008. The Postdoctoral Scholar appointments are for a three-year duration, carry an annual stipend and salary combination totaling $53,500, and offer a research expense fund of $5,000 per year.

This Fellowship program has been established to offer scientists, typically within a few years of receipt of the Ph.D., the best possible opportunity to develop their talents. Research will be encouraged in areas in which Caltech's faculty are currently active:
