| Below is the physics and astronomy graduate placement exam schedule and General Orientation Information for this Fall. | |
| On Tuesday after general orientation week, results of exams and discussion of course selection will be held on an individual basis at the times indicated below. Please note that new graduate students who arrive at Caltech prior to Orientation Week and Official Check-In Day, are required to visit the Registrar and Dean of Graduate Studies Office upon arrival. More information will be in available at Check-In. Your course schedule blue card is to be completed pending the results of placement exams and must be submitted to the Registrar's Office no later than the end of the second week of instruction. You may attend classes before completing your registration. Subsequent add/drop cards must be returned directly to the Registrar's Office by the add/drop dates indicated on the current academic calendar. |
