Sums along binary quartic forms

We discuss recent and upcoming work giving power saving asymptotics for sums of GL(2) Fourier coefficients along binary quartic forms. The work involves a mix of techniques, including an application of a recent two dimensional delta symbol along with the automorphy of cubic Dedekind zeta functions. We will also discuss some related results on GL(3) Fourier coefficients along binary cubic forms. Joint work with Wing Hong Leung.
