Annual Olive Harvest Festival

Last November Caltech held its first Olive Harvest Festival, hosting over 2000 people from the Caltech community for a day of picking olives and celebrating the harvest with exhibits, tasting stations, and a gala Mediterranean-themed feast. From the 130 olive trees on campus, volunteers picked nearly 1500 pounds of olives, which were pressed into oil and sold to benefit student scholarships and activities. The harvest and celebration this year promises to be even bigger and better than the last!
