A theory of anisotropic varifolds
Joshua Flynn,
Department of Mathematics,
MIT,
In this talk I will introduce a varifold theory suitable for geometric settings which are locally "anisotropic." In such geometries, basic concepts like regularity, Lipschitzness and rectifiability have to be re-imagined. This varifold theory is built in such a way to respect these re-imaginations.
