Bertrand Echenard
Research Professor of High Energy Physics
Ph.D., Geneva University, 2005. Caltech, 2009-.
Research Interests: Experimental high-energy physics, flavor and precision physics, dark sectors and dark matter
Overview
Bertrand Echenard is a Research Professor of High Energy Physics at California Institute of Technology, where he has been a member of the faculty since 2009. He conducts research at the forefront of experimental particle physics, with a particular focus on rare processes, muon physics, dark sectors, and searches for physics beyond the Standard Model. He is currently contributing to major international experimental collaborations in high-energy and intensity-frontier physics, including efforts connected to rare muon decay searches and next-generation dark matter experiments. His research has also helped shape emerging experimental programs exploring light dark matter and hidden-sector particles.
