Overview
Dinakar Ramakrishnan is the Taussky-Todd-Lonergan Professor of Mathematics (Emeritus) at Caltech. Professor Ramakrishnan works in Number Theory. His main research interests are in automorphic forms, arithmetical algebraic geometry, and representation theory of p-adic groups. In particular, he is interested in understanding these fields from multiple perspectives: algebraic, analytic, and geometric.
