- Visa Fee Reimbursement capped at $500:
There is no union pot, the reimbursement comes from the PI (discretionary or grant that allows such expenditure) or from the research fund for PMA prize PDs.
- PTA should be obtained from the GM
- PMA prize PDs can use their research fund at their discretion and can request a reimbursement for more than the $500 cap if their balance allows it. Always check with Marcella Ta or your GM.
This would be processed in two steps:
1/ The union form capped at $500
2/ A reimbursement for the remainder of the expense. The remaining visa reimbursement will be considered taxable and will be paid through payroll.
The total expense would be charged to the research fund.
